Job Description

TheraTree, LLC is looking for an exemplary Registered Behavior Technician to work with the pediatric population in the outpatient, telehealth, school, and home health settings. Technicians promote and educate the public on the benefits and scope of practice of therapy.

Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician:

Perform skilled therapeutic services as directed by supervising Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst. Including:
  • Contribute observations and information to plans of care for ABA Therapy.
  • Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through treatment of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
  • Maintain all necessary client documentation, confidentiality, and personal medical records for the Employer to comply with state regulations, service contracts, and confidentiality.
  • As directed by the supervisor, administer standardized assessments that identify deficits related to behavior and submit information to the supervisor for interpretation.
  • Collect data for reassessment and re-evaluation of progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.
  • Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others.
  • Educate the public on how Behavior Therapy helps, such that the community sees help is available and possible.
  • Support the whole child with our complimentary multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Participate in supervision to ensure requirements are met.
  • Choose your passion with outpatient in Owensboro and Henderson KY.

Behavior Technician Qualifications:
  • Efficiency without giving up Effectiveness with your time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to work in a physically active environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education or related field OR High School Diploma or national equivalent will be considered commensurate upon experience.
  • Registration obtained from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) OR commitment to obtain registration upon hire. Resources:

  • Pass background check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
