Registered Behavior Technician

We are looking for individuals to work with children and adolescents with autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). RBTs will work with individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum and their families in the home, community, and/or office settings in Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island), and Queens. We offer excellent ongoing training. These are part-time positions. These jobs are available after school hours on weekdays, and on weekends.

Responsibilities include:

Implementing behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Collecting and recording behavioral data to monitor the individual's progress

Making learning fun and engaging for children, adolescents and adults with autism

Working together with parents to teach a variety of skills to children and adolescents

Requirements:

A minimum of a associates degree in psychology, education, or a related field is required.

Must have reliable transportation

Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral issues. CPI training is a plus.

Enthusiasm, energy, and reliability are required

Job Type: Part-time

Fee Schedule:

Behavior Technician: $23 - $28 per hour

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $28 - $35 per hour

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
