Overview

The Regional Vice President of Revenue Strategy is a key executive role responsible for overseeing revenue generation and profitability of a cluster of Branded hotels in the West Region. The position involves working closely with the hotel management teams to develop and execute effective revenue management strategies that drive revenue growth, improve market share, and enhance profitability.

Key responsibilities for this role may include:

  1. Developing and implementing revenue management strategies and tactics for each property in the cluster, utilizing data-driven analysis, pricing tools, and market intelligence to optimize revenue and occupancy levels.
  2. Conducting ongoing analysis of demand patterns, market trends, and competitive pricing to identify revenue opportunities and recommend changes to pricing and distribution strategies.
  3. Developing and implementing sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, including group sales, direct marketing, and online distribution.
  4. Providing leadership and guidance to hotel management teams, ensuring they are aligned with revenue goals and strategies.
  5. Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure revenue management efforts are integrated across the organization.
  6. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors and partners, such as online travel agencies and revenue management software providers, to leverage industry expertise and technology to maximize revenue opportunities.
  7. Overseeing the implementation of revenue management technology and processes to ensure optimal pricing and inventory controls are in place.
  8. Conducting regular performance reviews and analysis to evaluate revenue performance and identify opportunities for improvement.


Responsibilities
  • A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in revenue management or related field, with a proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Minimum of 3 years above property revenue management experience.
  • Experience managing a revenue management team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets to develop insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with revenue management technology and software, including revenue management systems, channel managers, and online distribution platforms.
  • Familiarity with the hotel industry in the branded hotel market.
  • Ability to travel to hotel properties within the west coast region as needed (approximately 50%)
