The Role

Representing Fidelity Charitable, the Regional Vice President will partner with Fidelity s Private Wealth Management and Executive Services organizations, acting as the philanthropic subject matter expert for associates and their clients. You will provide coaching to associates that enhances their understanding of charitable planning within a client s overall wealth plan and increases the adoption of donor-advised funds. Additionally, you will be responsible for partnering with Fidelity leadership to drive alignment, integrate into Fidelity Wealth and business unit initiatives, and increase your impact.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

We are seeking a dynamic individual with varied sales and relationship management experience who has a deep understanding of wealth management, estate and tax planning, and the philanthropic landscape. Additionally, the individual should have a strong understanding of Fidelity s Wealth channel, and a proven ability to work independently towards achieving financial goals and business objectives.

  • Ability to adjust approach and messaging based on the needs of different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
  • Advanced presentation and public speaking experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience using a data-driven approach to making decisions and managing a territory or book of business.
  • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively across an organization.
  • Deep understanding of wealth, estate, tax, and charitable planning techniques.
  • 10+ years of wealth management or financial service intermediary sales experience.
  • Bachelor s degree
  • Advanced Planning degrees are highly preferred (e.g., CFP , J.D., CPA).

The Team

The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund ( the charity ) is a public charity that sponsors the largest national donor-advised fund program. Since 1991, the charity has introduced tens of thousands of donors to the benefits and increased charitable impact of using a donor-advised fund to meet their philanthropic goals. The charity is governed by an independent Board of Trustees, which has hired Fidelity Charitable, a business unit of Fidelity Investments, as the service provider of the charity. These services include Program Development, Investments, Service Delivery, Marketing, Finance, Tax, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Fundraising.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
