Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for effectively managing the day to day activities within the assigned territory, develop new fabricator customers and expanding sales to existing customers. The RSM will be responsible for developing, and maintaining relationships with Dealers, interacts with Customer Service and Manufacturing on potential and existing projects. This individual will partner with the managing Director in developing programs related to marketing, product development, and sales tools. Territory Coverage: Canada and Eastern U.S. (ME, VT, RI, MA, CT, NH, DE, NY, NJ, PA, OH, WV, KY, MD, DC, VA, AR, LA, MS, AL, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL)

What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain fabricator customer base.
  • Point person to customer and dealer community for Mermet.
  • Assist in developing project specific programs.
  • Distribution of samples and sales tools.
  • Provides technical training to customers and dealers on new and existing product offerings, certifications, specifications, and solar KPIs.
  • Develops and tracks cooperative marketing fund annual spend plans.
  • Establish and maintain professional home office environment.
  • All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales, B2B sales and account management experience in a the Consumer Goods or Home Decor industries is a plus
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous technical selling experience to manufacturing or fabricator companies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for training, trade shows, and meet with customers.
  • Multi-tasking abilities essential.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Trilingual (French/Spanish/English) a plus.
