Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in previous roles, with a track record of consistently meeting or surpassing quotas.

The Regional Sales Manager oversees sales activities within a designated geographical region, catering to bakery market customers and prospects.

The role involves managing the complete sales process, encompassing prospecting, reporting, quoting, and closing deals in alignment with the sales budget.

Responsibilities:

Identify potential sales opportunities with existing customers and new prospects through personal sales calls, following up on leads, and employing other prospecting methods.

Leverage company provided resources such as marketing tools, demonstration facilities, and collaboration with other sales associates to enhance the sales process.

Monitor and report on competitive activities within the territory and beyond.

Operate within the annual expense budget and strive to meet individual sales targets.

Attend and actively participate in trade shows, sales meetings, industry events, and other activities directed by management.

Develop and implement a business plan for the assigned territory.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in both traditional, manual methods and modern, automated processes of bakery product production.

Four or more years of experience, with at least three years in sales related to capital equipment, packaging materials, or other industry-related goods.

Emphasis on a consultative customer service approach, going beyond conventional sales practices to understand customer needs and build long-term, value-driven relationships.
