Full Time Regional Nurse Manager


Working in partnership with the Sr. VP of Operations to provide comprehensive medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other health care services to foster wellness, longevity and socially responsible behavior for the patients we serve. Deliver and direct the companys brand and program standards that enhances the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of patients. Ability to train and lead dosing nurses to deliver care and act in accordance with the five core values. Provides coordination and direction of the nursing and medical staff as it relates to medicated assisted treatment. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Present in-services and act as a leader in all meetings and training sessions. Audits DEA requirements and files with all forms required by state law. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Regularly makes on site visits all programs within the Region with the expectation of visiting each program at least every six weeks. Will maintain a visitation log.
  • Audit the DEA records during during each site visit.
  • Ensures that nursing personnel and dispensing of medications meets county, State and Federal government laws, regulations and contracts are complied with specific to the provision of treatment services.
  • Assistance with the training and on boarding of all new dispensing nurses.
  • Provides program nursing coverage in urgent situations at any / all locations in the assigned region.

Other Duties:

  • Work in partnership with the clinic lead nurses and nurse supervisors , as applicable, to lead center culture that acts with compassion and integrity.
  • Train staff on the delivery of patient care.
  • Reviews nursing records in the (EHR) Electronic Health Record.
  • Ability to react calmly and and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements effective interventions.
  • Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards. Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and of community health and welfare resources.
  • Train nursing staff on delivery of patient dose, documenting in EHR.

Qualifications:

  • RN Registered Nurse or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse, current in each applicable state by license or nurse compact.
  • CPR certification.
  • In good standings with all required continuing education when applicable.
  • 2 years experience in working with persons with substance use disorder or mental health treatment.
  • 2 years of Supervisory Experience
  • Experience assessing patients prior to medication administration and admissions.
  • Must be able to relate professionally and positively to Center staff and to work cooperatively with associates of all levels and to represent centers program in the local community.
  • Knowledge & skills with Microsoft products & general computer literacy.
  • Preferred prior experience in an outpatient setting with multi-site responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to function with a collaborative spirit throughout all functions of the Company (NSC and the Region).
  • Demonstrated success in driving initiatives that yield strong results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exhibits good time management skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 75%, 3 out of 4 weeks and with short notice
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Satisfactory drug screen.
