Administer, track, report, and audit SQE compliance including variance log, SQE survey, employee recognition, field compliance, and other requirements included in the SQE Implementation Program for the Mid-Atlantic Region.Review incidents, conduct SCAT analysis, and develop incident investigation reports. Track and post incident investigation results to ensure immediate cause(s) and root cause(s) have been identified and tracks the implementation of short and long-term solutions. Enter incidents into Sphera Cloud within 24 hours. Support all terminals within the region on this area of responsibility.Must be able to manage multiple projects across the region simultaneously-under pressure within deadlines.Ensure appropriate management systems necessary for operational excellence (written procedures, job hazard analysis, personal protective equipment, equipment checklists, etc.) are established, implemented, and updated.Lead and coordinate the MOC process to ensure utilization, implementation and documentation is consistent with process requirements.Lead and coordinate the HAZOP process to ensure utilization, implementation, and documentation is consistent with process requirements.Manage and coordinate activities, documentation, and compliance associated with Responsible Care status. Perform internal audits to ensure compliance.Manage and coordinate activities, documentation, and compliance associated with customer and internal audits. Perform internal audits to ensure compliance.Manage compliance of the RMP program to ensure all components are implemented and documented as required (i.e. PHA, training, maintenance, procedures, safety information, MOC's, P&ID's, incidents, filing and reporting to EPA). Conduct internal audits, document same, develop and oversee implementation of associated corrective actions.Discuss changes and/or proposed changes within the facility that may have an impact regarding safety, quality and environmental regarding operations/maintenance/commercial activities. Ensure that processes associated with such changes are followed (i.e. MOC, PHA, MOC, HAZOP).Conduct compliance audits of other programs and processes to ensure compliance (including Document Library, JHA, SPCC, SWPPP, Safety Programs, ICP, LO/TO, Confined Space, Resp. Protection, Fall protection, Hazcom, Work Permits, and other internal/external compliance items). Report findings and develop/track corrective actions as necessary to address any gaps.Monitor and track OPSINFO items. Coordinate with staff to ensure compliance.Coordinate emergency response drills and exercises and ensure compliance with required schedules and documentationAll other duties as assigned.Assist Terminal Managers in the Region on the responsibilities listed above along with various other projects. Education: High School DiplomaExperience: Experience with management processes such as MOC, HAZOP, Incident Investigation, Environmental Programs and Compliance, Safety Programs and Compliance, RMP, Industry Compliance Audits, Responsible Care Assessments, and other industry related processes.Previous experience in Environmental, Safety, Emergency Response, and/or Haz-Mat.Certificication, licenses, registrations: Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.Ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration)Competencies, skills, and abilities: Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Must have high level of initiative.Ability to comfortably interact with employees at all levels in the office AND in the field.Conduct interactive meetings.Must have ability to effectively organize, prioritize and plan daily work in an unstructured work environment.Must have ability and willingness to work with a team, take directions from supervisor(s), with a high degree of attention to details, follow work rules and adhere to established work schedules.Possess organization and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Must be capable of developing and revising practical and effective company procedures, standards, processes and best practices.Must be accountable and manage activities to keep required work schedules.Must have strong analytical skills and logical thought processes.Must be self-motivated and able to follow through on assigned task with minimal direction.Must be able to focus on work, through day to day distractionsMust maintain a professional and respectful demeanor / attitude with co-workers, contractors, customers and regulatory agencies.
