Location: Must be located in WA - Greater Seattle Area

Job Summary:

As the Regional Director of Health Services at Merrill Gardens, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the clinical excellence of our care programs and training initiatives. You will provide guidance, support, and hands-on assistance in high-risk situations, fostering a culture of exceptional care delivery. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of efficient processes, policies, and tools, all while staying current with industry trends and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a nursing and care subject matter expert, acting as a single point of contact for nursing-related inquiries.
  • Plan and lead monthly nursing staff communication and information sharing meetings.
  • Innovate and create programs for nursing and care staff to exchange knowledge and expertise.
  • Stay updated on geriatric care and nursing industry trends, incorporating relevant practices into Merrill Gardens' services.
  • Assist in the development of nursing and care staff job descriptions, performance assessments, and improvement models.
  • Support community nursing and key care staff performance reviews as required.
  • Address care issues in communities and provide hands-on assistance for high-risk situations.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology to ensure care technologies align with efficient processes.
  • Identify, analyze, and report on key process performance metrics, collaborating with Operations to address issues.
  • Develop, improve, and communicate nursing and care policies and processes.
  • Utilize care data to identify trends, potential problems, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Currently Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Assisted Living
  • Minimum of three years with care systems
  • Minimum of five years of organizational-level experience in policy creation and management

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel locally and nationally up to 70% of the time
