Principal Accountabilities
Ensure refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems are operating properly through monitoring, PMs, and repairs
Maintain boiler and refrigeration water chemistry through testing
Participate in activities (training, system reviews, documentation) with the ammonia PSM program
Miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Minimum of one year maintenance or operations experience at a manufacturing facility
- Able to wear a full-face breathing respirator mask
- Willing to be able to be part of the Hazmat team
- Able to work weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- RETA/IIAR training and certification
- Previous experience with regulated PSM programs
- 1-3 years of ammonia refrigeration experience
- Electrical or mechanical experience
- Technical degree in a HVAC or ammonia refrigeration, equivalent work experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration, or equivalent work experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Boiler experience
- Air compressor experience
- Operator 1 and 2 certification or equivalent
