Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems are operating properly through monitoring, PMs, and repairs
- Maintain boiler and refrigeration water chemistry through testing
- Participate in activities (training, system reviews, documentation) with the ammonia safety program
- Miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
- RETA/IIAR training and certification
- Technical degree in a HVAC or ammonia refrigeration, equivalent work experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration, or equivalent work experience as a maintenance mechanic Prior industrial food equipment experience or relevant experience in a repetitive/fast-paced environment
- Electrical or mechanical experience
- Previous ammonia refrigeration experience
