Role: RedShift Architect

Work location: SAINT LOUIS (US:63101), MO

Job Description:

• Must be local to St Louis, MO.

Job Summary.

Must have:

• Cloud Architect with an experience in AWS cloud technologies specifically in Redshift and other majorly used services like EC2, S3, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, ElasticSearch, Elasticache.

• Good knowledge on AWS environment, Data Ware housing and BI concepts.

• Must have applied hands-on experience of Amazon Redshift Architecture.

• Applied Hands-on AWS Redshift experience for DB design.

• AWS Pipeline knowledge to develop ETL for data movement to Redshift, experience to map the source to target rules and fields.

• Candidate should have good knowledge of designing data warehouse schema. Other Skills Responsibilities.

• Knowledge of microservice/API interactions with Redshift.

• Translating functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.

• Participating in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.

• Able to perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technical people.

Good to have:

• Strong in writing complex queries with nested joins and derived tables.

• Coding and testing complex system components.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technology personnel.

• Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines.
