SUMMARY The Redleaf Program Manager is a grant funded position funded by the Lynne and Andrew Redleaf Foundation. The position reports to the department leaders and provides administrative oversight of grant-funded programs. The Redleaf Program Manager monitors implementation of transitional grant funded programs and services in the Redleaf Center. The Redleaf Program Manager and the Redleaf Medical and Pediatric Directors will co-jointly prepare fiscal and grant funded opportunities to the ELT leadership team for review and approval. The Redleaf Program Manager will be responsible for tracking benchmarks, reporting on grant deliverables, and managing multiple grants and multiple program budgets in collaboration with department directors/managers, Redleaf Center stakeholders, and Hennepin Health Foundation team members. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for assessing and stabilizing current non-clinical programs. Works with the Redleaf Medical and Pediatric Directors, and department leadership to develop a decision tree and matrix for developing new programs and/ or the expansion of current programs by monitoring utilization, establishing performance data, and developing workplan activities to determine program viability in collaboration with Redleaf stakeholders. Works with stakeholders to identify and solve problems, address barriers, make connections between programs and conduct quality assurance and quality improvement activities as required. Assesses policies, practices, and measurement systems, as directed by department leadership and other Executive Leadership Team (ELT) (where appropriate), and Redleaf stakeholders and provide analysis, recommendations, and options for revision or future action to Redleaf grant funded programs. Prepares grant program budgets, reports to funders, presentations, communication plans and updates to internal HHS departments including Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Women Services, MVNA, Clinical Nutrition Services, Integrative Health, and other department stakeholders. Implements and tracks grant contracts and budgets using HHS systems and demonstrates fiscal viability before implementing and planning new services. Assists in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating a range of health initiatives impacting HHS families and communities. Utilizes robust key performance indicator dashboards as applicable in the department level to reflect impact of programs and align program goals with departmental and enterprise-wide goals. Provides management and oversight to the Redleaf Center:Develops, implements, and maintains a system of diagnostic, treatment, and consultative behavioral health services o Participates in high-level planning and problem-solving activities o Assists in establishing and maintaining standards and ethics of professional practice o Assists in the selection, hiring, supervision, and evaluation of mental health professionals and others o Participates in peer review of mental health professionals' practices o Monitors and ensures unit staff understands and complies with organizational standards, competency requirements, policies, procedures, and regulations o Exhibits leadership behaviors that support staff to take responsibility, authority, and accountability for decision making related to patient care o Creates an environment that encourages engagement, creativity, and inclusion for employees o Assists in the clinical oversight of behavioral health services in HHS o Provides operational oversight of one or more Psychiatry programs o Collaborates with other healthcare and social service professionals in multidisciplinary reviews of diagnostic work, treatment planning, service utilization, and program resources o Is accountable for supporting and strengthening the professional practice environment o Evaluates the impact of behavioral health services on service recipients o Assists in administrative and budget oversight of one or more Psychiatry programs o Presents to community groups, schools, and/or healthcare and social service professionals about Hennepin Healthcare behavioral health services o Participates in research and/or program development projects including grant writing o Performs all job functions of a Mental Health Professional-Licensed in providing direct patient care (refer to the Job Description for MHP-Licensed) QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education / Work Experience Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Hospital Administration, or a related field Five (5) years of relevant business experience in healthcare, developing healthcare programs, project management, managing grants and budgets and some knowledge of process improvement methods OR An approved equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Basic project management skills MS Office suite proficiency Knowledge of developing programs using data and metrics that drive change and have measurable outcomes Knowledge of program development, implementation, and evaluation metrics Ability to effectively manage company resources Skilled in modeling company values through daily interactions within the department, particularly with regards to health and safety Capable of supporting the work of the department Skilled in fostering a positive workplace culture and building inclusive workplace teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in project management and program design Degree in Business, Psychology, Public Health or related field License/ Certifications Must meet State of Minnesota definition for "Mental Health Professional" (Statute 245.462 subd. 18) MN Licensure: LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT Title: Redleaf Program Manager (Center for Family Healing) Location: MN-Minneapolis-Downtown Campus Requisition ID: 240381
