View job description. Requirements Willing to work hard, able to learn and follow instructions. Completed 10th grade of high school. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Preferred: Basic construction experience. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Ability to operate a manual transmission. Shifts 6 to 10 hours per day, 4 to 6 days per week. Compensation $20 to $36 per hour, depending on experience, talents and ambition. Additional forms of compensation are listed in the Compensation accordion below. Basic functions Performs tasks involving physical labor at residential, commercial, civil, industrial or agricultural projects. May operate hand and power tools of all types; air hammers, tampers, cement mixers, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other tools and equipment. May excavate and prepare sites, dig trenches, set forms or braces, clean up rubble and debris. Assists concrete finishers in placing concrete. Cleans and maintains tools, trucks and equipment. Other duties as assigned.
