  • 8:30am -5:00pm day shift coverage needed and work holidays.
  • Per Diem Receptionist when needed Sunday through Saturday
Waterview Hills, a 130 bed, predominantly Short-Term Care & Sub-Acute Rehabilitation facility is seeking a Social Worker to join our exceptional team.   • The role of the Receptionist is to provide a friendly and helpful first impression to our residents, visitors and staff, adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility while focusing on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Open and close the Front Lobby, assures all residents, visitors, vendors and contractors adhere to the secure access and departure rules of the facility, and assure the Lobby is secure when the Receptionist leaves the area
  • Receptionist must be aware of situations in the Lobby area at all times and must never leave the Lobby area unattended
  • Present a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Serve as main switchboard and paging operator for entire facility. Ascertains nature of calls and relays to proper location within facility
  • Assist in resident elopement prevention by communicating with residents, transporters and nursing personnel whenever a resident leaves the facility and assure that visitors sign in and out of facility
  • Assist visitors and residents with directions. Maintain current list of residents to aid in directing visitors and notify staff of their visitors, appointments, etc.
  • Collect resident's clothing from visitors, have family complete inventory sheet and relay to laundry for marking
  • Aid in the administration of resident trust accounts by collecting monies and providing receipt
  • Receptionist will distribute payroll checks and additional announcements to staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • One year of reception experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible
  • Exemplary customer service skills
