We are looking for a part-time Receptionist at our Bedrock Recovery Location in Canton, Massachusetts.

Schedule: 16-14hrs/week (includes weekends)

Job Summary: As the Receptionist at Bedrock, you will be welcoming all guests and vendors as well as answering and directing all phone calls. This is a support position which requires attention to detail and a willingness to assist the daily operations in all applicable methods and practices. Responsibilities involve administrative duties which require computer literacy, evaluative and analytical thinking as well as clerical tasks. Duties are performed under supervision but often require the candidate to act independently where authority and responsibility are clearly designated. You will be exposed to highly confidential information which requires use of discretion.

Essential Responsibilities:

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person and on the phone
Assist the doctors and therapists in making sure their needs are met so their schedules run on time
Keeps admissions on schedule by notifying provider of patients' arrival
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering questions; maintaining the reception area
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment services and repairs
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Coordinate the schedules of other staff members
Electronically scan medical records

Experience:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
2+ years of administrative support experience
Proficiency in communication, observation, and written skills

Physical Nature of the Job: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently
