Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents and contracts for real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
  • Conduct legal research on real estate and corporate law to support attorneys in their legal matters.
  • Assist attorneys in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Assist attorneys in estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Manage and organize legal documents and files related to real estate transactions, corporate transactions, and estate planning matters.
  • Assist attorneys in corporate governance matters, including drafting corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of legal matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a transactional paralegal, with a focus on real estate law, corporate transactions, estate planning, and corporate governance.
  • Certified Paralegal certificate is required.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law, corporate law, and estate planning.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple legal matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
