Help Duties You will advise commanders and senior staff officers on all matters pertaining to the capabilities and limitations of a range training complex. You will coordinate range operations support efforts between internal and external organizations. You will coordinate range logistics to prepare ranges for the training mission with all required resources (e.g., funding, ordnance, equipment, materials). You will manage projects for construction, renovations, and improvements to facilities. You will oversee maintenance and construction projects (e.g., estimating, planning, execution) to provide quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of facilities maintenance projects and services. You will brief senior leaders on the progress of military training. Help Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing small arms range complexes, budgeting and planning range complex construction projects, and applying military tactics, techniques, and procedures in a training environment.
