Under the administrative direction of the Diagnostic Manager and Clinical Lead Tech, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students assigned. Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Massachusetts required. Registration or registration eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required, for Radiography. Must be registered within 12 months of hire. Preferred: Previous work experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required. Will consider graduates of a formal, accredited Radiologic Technology training program with required temporary license. Knowledge of bone density will train if no prior.
