Requirements: Must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice or evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military. Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred) BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required) Registered with ARRT Responsibilities: Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations About Crestwood Medical Center Crestwood Medical Center is a Tier 1 Facility from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.
