Job Description $10,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS - FULL TIME (RSWH) As a Radiology Tech, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program (required) ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required) Previous experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred). We will accept newly registered graduates. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required). Must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period. About the Job: Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes Prepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs Operates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Follows relevant safety and sanitation guidelines Documents patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Demonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability.
