Radiologic Technologist 3 Wanted PRN - New Milford Hospital Attention Radiologic Technologists with multiple modalities. The New Milford Hospital is growing its radiology team and seeks a PRN Rad Tech with experience. Must have ARRT and specialty certification and one year minimum experience. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, Summary: Performs diagnostic radiographs of patients while maintaining patient safety. Responsibilities: 1. Introduce and greet patient. 2. Responsible for the care and safety of patients. 3. Instructs and prepares patient for xray and or fluoroscopic exam. Produces high quality xrays. 4. Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions, and shields patient accordingly. 5. Interacts professionally with patients and family. 6. Practices medicine and surgical aseptic procedures. 7. Proficient in either mammography, operating room or other specialty modality. 8. Leads, coaches, and mentors staff members. 9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Experience: one year Desired: Experience with patient care in a radiology setting. Specialty certification.
