Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring optimal patient safety.
2. Utilize advanced medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose and treat diseases.
3. Adhere to strict radiation protection standards to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
4. Assist physicians in the interpretation of radiographic images, providing key insights and recommendations.
5. Position patients correctly and comfortably for radiographic procedures, ensuring optimal image quality.
6. Provide exceptional patient care, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
7. Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
8. Keep accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
9. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or in a similar role.
4. Proficiency in various medical imaging technologies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
5. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to reassure and comfort patients.
6. Strong knowledge of radiation protection standards and safety protocols.
7. Ability to interpret radiographic images and provide recommendations.
8. Proficiency in radiographic positioning to ensure optimal image quality.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
11. Must be physically able to lift and move patients, and stand for long periods of time.
