JOB SUMMARY:

The Radiation Therapist applies ionization radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. Under the direction of the Program Director of the School of Radiation therapy technology, teaches theory and clinical practice to the Technology students.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree is required.

Must have satisfactory completed a college course in Radiation Therapy Technology

Must hold a current license as required by state or National Authority and Registered in Radiation Therapy by ARRT.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
