Job Details

Seeking a dynamic and innovative R&D / Vaccine Production Lead to join our team in the Scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of scientists and technicians in the research, development, and production of innovative vaccines. This role requires a strong background in biology, microbiology, and lab techniques, with specific experience in vaccine production. The R&D / Vaccine Production Leader will play a crucial role in advancing our organization's mission to develop groundbreaking solutions to global health challenges.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the research and development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
2. Oversee the production process of vaccines, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
3. Develop and implement R&D strategies and production plans in line with company goals.
4. Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments, utilizing techniques such as plasmid and wet lab procedures.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful transfer of vaccine products from research to production.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific advancements, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to vaccine development and production.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
8. Communicate complex scientific information to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
9. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
10. Foster relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and research institutions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in research, development, and production in the scientific industry, with a focus on vaccine development.
3. Proven experience in managing a team of scientists and technicians.
4. Strong knowledge of lab techniques, including plasmid and wet lab procedures.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific information to a variety of audiences.
7. Proven track record of successful product development and launch in the scientific industry.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements related to vaccine development and production.
10. A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
