R&D Engineer IV
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a R&D Engineer for a contract position in Marlborough, MA. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: Independently conducts development work as part of a major research and/or development project. Receives minimal technical direction/review on broad-scope or complex projects. Viewed as an expert in one or more in-house technologies.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Drives complex or Client assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. Work is expected to result in the development of new or refined technologies, products, materials, processes, equipment, and/or scientific methods to broaden BSC's Intellectual Property in key strategic areas.
- Complete engineering work in one or more of the following: product design and development, test of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, and report preparation.
- Guides product teams.
- Assesses the feasibility and soundness of alternative engineering processes, products, or equipment.
- Coordinates, manages, and documents project goals and progress and recommends appropriate revisions.
- Develops and coaches others on engineering documentation.
- Trains and/or provides work direction to technicians and less experienced engineers.
- Leads engineering teams to the successful completion of project goals.
- Demonstrates PDP system knowledge through coaching and delivery of high-quality, high-impact deliverables.
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
Qualifications - Must have a degree in either Bio med or ME. The top choice is BioMed.
- 9-11 years with BS, 7 - 9 Years with MS, 4 - 8 Years with PhD
- Must have solid medical device experience.
- Must have solid Design verification testing and execution experience.
- Experience in lab testing environment.
- Knowledge of BSC design Controls and PLM (Produce Life Management) systems.
