Quarry Maintenance Worker

Central Stone Company has a full-time, 1st shift opening for multiple Quarry Maintenance Workers at our Ft. Belle (Florissant), MO location. This position, through the Operators 513 Union, typically works 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday - with occasional Saturdays depending on peak season needs. Major Quarry Maintenance responsibilities include: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and set-up on processing plant equipment used throughout the quarry operations using a variety of hand and power tools Operate light equipment such as skid loaders, man lifts, tele-handler Assisting crew in all aspects of quarry operation as assigned Properly following all company policies and adhering to all governmental regulations The ideal Quarry Maintenance candidate will have: High school diploma or GED A focus on safety and a strong work ethic Well rounded maintenance background A background in quarry operations is preferred Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred but not necessary Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions A valid driver's license This is a great time to join our team.
