Job Details

Responsible for daily inspection of consumer packaging film and periodic audits of Extrusion, Printing, and Converting processes. Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness while ensuring compliance with certification requirements such as AIB and ISO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report any extrusion process issues to QA manager.
  • Inspect incoming materials for railcar and truckload resins.
  • Clean lab area daily and perform weekly deep cleaning as per AIB standards.
  • Maintain lab equipment, perform calibration and verification as per ISO requirements.
  • Conduct lab tests on films provided by QA or Technical Manager and prepare summary reports.
  • Assist QA manager in developing work instructions and lab test methods.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
  • Previous QA experience in a similar industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions on quality and address customer complaints effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks clearly and meet deadlines.
  • Strong mathematical and attention to detail skills are advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
