Quality Technician Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to help us ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers. In this role, you will conduct routine quality inspection throughout production, including first article, in-process, and final inspection. During these inspections, you will use a variety of precision measuring tools to ensure that products follow specifications. Person will work closely with production teams to continously improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the production or manufacturing process, including first article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Perform workstation audits
  • Maintain documentation of all inspections and potential issues
  • Assist with problem resolution
  • Suggest process improvement
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field may be preferred
  • Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role in a Manufacturing or machine shop
  • Ability to use computers and computer software with no assistance
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
