Title: Manufacturing Associate / Quality Lead
Function: Manage and oversee quality on the production floor
Type: Full-time, temp to hire
Pay: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience
Essential Functions:
- Complete first piece inspection, prior to production run, as needed when the Plant Manager or General Manager are unavailable.
- Complete random in-process inspections during production runs in all departments, bringing any concerns to the attention of the supervisor/setup operator and the Plant Manager.
- Completing PPAP inspection requirements and all required/necessary paperwork, when required by the customer.
- Complete corrective action investigations, including processing all necessary internal paperwork as well as any paperwork required by the customer, and being the point of contact for this process.
- Visit vendors and suppliers to address quality problems with material or sign off on first-piece inspections for production runs.
- Champion the ISO quality program/audits.
- Complete gage calibration checks per the intervals described in our ISO program.
- Take responsibility for the signing in and out of gages to the department supervisors.
- Monitor all measuring equipment/devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and order new when needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- During down time, assist shipping with inspections of incoming/outgoing material and packing.
- Help with any minor rework or sort of questionable product before shipping.
- Supervise and/or perform special duties as required.
- Perform other company-related duties as required.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of processes, policies, and procedures required for supporting the business unit; ISO and PPAP experience a plus.
- Manufacturing experience (5+ years); inspection and quality experience a plus;
- Experience with measuring equipment/devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Able to deal with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner and develop professional working relationships.
- Good task management and coordination skills; able to prioritize and multitask; attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills, ability to work with a range of different personalities.
- Good computer skills, including MS office applications.

- 1st Shift (7:00am 3:30pm) Monday through Friday.
- Overtime as needed.
