Production and quality experience with supervising or managing employees.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 5 years of quality inspection experience

OR

At least 3 years of quality inspection experience with a Bachelor's degree

Plus the supervisory experience - exp supervising quality workers

Position Overview:

Quality Control (QC) Inspection Supervisor

Will ensure production areas are meeting quality standards during manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support QA Inspectors & Mechanical Techs to ensure inspections and repairs performed correctly

• Ensure high level of inspection quality and adheres safety policies

• Accountable for shop floor activity that contributes to the completion of the planned workload

• Manage flow of all inspection work, repair completion, data capture and communication w service auditors

• Contact manager and plant quality / manufacturing managers regarding unusual repairs

• Ensure efficient flow through inspection process (vehicles picked up, tracked, delivered on time)

• Keep abreast of all inspection and rework criteria and product changes

• Provide on-the-job tech support for auditors and technicians

• Ensure that inspections and reworks are recorded / documented; tech' comments descriptive and precise

• Understand and keep abreast of regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, EPA, etc.

• Maintain safe / clean work environment. Ensure inspectors wear PPE. Ensure proper tool use, care, storage

• Attending all PDI Department staff meetings as required. Explain reworks to plant quality organization
