Our client is a growing manufacturer that has products found in homes across the globe. They have been an industry leader for 100+ years. They offer a friendly work atmosphere and stability, great benefits, paid time off and more. They are in need of a Quality Supervisor to join their team.
As Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing plant quality system
Ensuring product quality
Overseeing plant sanitation
Implementing continuous improvements
Meeting department goals
Working with other plant departments
Ensuring plant safety
Employee training
Maintaining QC equipment
Overseeing inspections, audits, etc
Coaching, training and mentoring employees
To be considered for the Quality Supervisor position you must have:
A degree is preferred, but equivalent experience along with at least 4 years of previous relevant quality experience will be accepted
Previous supervisory experience
Strong communication and organization skills; strong attention to detail
Previous sanitation experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule (some Saturdays and OT during the week)
Experience with plant audits
Consumer products, chemical, food or similar industry
