This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by leading and directing a team overseeing the Quality Management System including, but not limited to the development, setting and enforcement of procedures, policies and standards affecting the Quality of our products. Accountable for ensuring that finished goods meet the specifications of the company and its customers. Leading a quality team.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- BS Degree (preferred in technical area) plus five (5) years of leadership experience in Quality/Manufacturing or ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles. Prior audit experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI required.
- Strong data management skills preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of fact-based decision-making and analytical processes related to quality management and process improvement.
- Effective coaching, training, and facilitating experience.
- Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection as required.
This role operates in a professional office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Travel up to 25% by vehicle or plane with overnight stays.
Salary : $85k annually negotiable with experience.
