We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest levels of quality in our products and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality management system, leading quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO standards and industry-specific requirements.
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to ensure quality is built into the product design and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure all customer requirements are met before production begins.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits of the QMS to identify areas of non-compliance or improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with APQP and PPAP.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, promoting a culture of quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite and quality management software.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) would be an advantage.
