SUMMARY: The Annual Wellness Nurse is responsible for performing Medicare Annual Wellness Visits for Medicare fee-for-service patients in a clinic setting. Medicare Annual Wellness Visits are recommended annually. The Annual Wellness Nurse may rotate among several clinics performing annual wellness visits. The Annual Wellness Nurse must be flexible and be willing to help in other areas of the clinic if the need arises. The Annual Wellness Nurse performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Mission and Values of Hattiesburg Clinic.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited school of nursing required-Registered Nurse, with current state licensure required. Prefer at least three years nursing experience. Knowledge of EMR, medical management and policies and procedures. Intermediate skills in work processing, spreadsheet and database development and maintenance. Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm; 50% travel required.
