What are we looking for in our Quality Laboratory Technician?
The Scientific Team with Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Quality Lab Technician to support our beverage manufacturing client near Romeoville, IL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are produced in compliance with company specifications.
- Perform different quality testing such as microbiological testing, inspections of raw materials, sensory analysis on in process products, finished products and ingredients, and analytical testing on products.
- Calibration and maintenance of test equipment used for quality analysis in the laboratory and production.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of analytical experience
- Chemistry domain experience preferred.
- HPLC, spectrophotometer familiarity

Additional Information:
- Position type: 6-month contract with potential for extension/conversion
- Pay: $24-27.50/hr dependent on experience
Shift: - 6.00 pm to 6.00 am (must be flexible)
12 hour shifts, 6pm-6am
First week -Long Week : Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday and Sunday - 6.00 pm to 6.00 am
Second week : - Short week shift Wednesday and Thursday. - 6.00 pm to 6.00 am
Third week Long Week : Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday and Sunday - 6.00 pm to 6.00 am
Fourth week : Short week shift Wednesday and Thursday. - 6.00 pm to 6.00 am
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
