Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company and full-service manufacturing facility supporting the aerospace & defense, medical, and power generation industries is looking for a dedicated Quality Inspection assistant to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will thoroughly inspect incoming metal castings prior to and after machining processes have been completed. You will play a key role in identifying non-conforming parts prior to final approval and shipment. - Thoroughly inspect metal castings after various machining processes are complete
- Inspect incoming and outgoing metal castings
- Identify non-conformances and communicate them to the individual machine operators
- Assist with communicating corrections and best practices
- Communicate to management any observed issues with specific part numbers
- Identify and label non-conforming parts to minimize non-conforming product shipments to the customer
- Inspect complete shipments prior to them leaving our facility
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read customer and internal work instructions
- Ability and willingness to systematically inspect parts for non-conformances
Compensation
- Starting Wage: $14.00 per hour, increase to $15.00 per hour within 90 days
