Quality Inspector

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a Quality Inspector level 3 to inspect components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance, using low/high power microscopes and other test equipment in support of ongoing projects for an Aerospace Industry leader in Chelmsford, MA. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity on the 1st shift Monday - Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm paying up to $32 per hour for well-qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Inspects components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance to established work instruction, industry standards, drawings, etc., using low / high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools.

Will enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems, and work with engineering to report and detail non-conformances.

Requirements:

Microscope visual inspection experience.

3 years of inspection experience.

ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training/awareness.

High School diploma/GED.

Ability to obtain security clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting.

Use of inspection hand tools.

Ability to follow work instructions

Desired:

Defense Industry experience.

SAP Quality Module experience.

AS9100.

Mil-STD-883.

IPC-610.

J-STD-001 (active certification preferred).

Cleanroom experience.

FOD.
