Eleven Recruiting is hiring a Quality Inspector II at one of our largest aerospace manufacturing company onsite in Simi Valley, CA. In this role you will ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in their products. You will be responsible for inspecting components, parts, and products according to aerospace specifications and quality assurance instructions, including first article inspection protocols. Your attension to detail and expertise will help identify and address quality issues, contributing to the overall excellence of our manufacturing processes.

Job Core Responsibilities:

Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components throughout various stages of the production process to ensure strict compliance with established quality and reliability standards, including first article inspection requirements.

Analyze statistical data from processes to confirm adherence to standards or identify any deviations, enabling timely corrective actions.

Perform thorough visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

Prepare comprehensive documentation, accurately reporting the acceptance or rejection of inspected and/or tested items, including detailed reports for first article inspections.

Proactively identify design, process, or other inefficiencies, promptly reporting quality concerns and issues for resolution.

Perform routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies, and tooling, maintaining meticulous standards.

Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality protocols.

Job Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating proficiency in quality inspection and assurance processes, including first article inspection procedures.

Skills:

Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Apply a systematic QA approach, utilizing existing procedures to solve a range of technical issues efficiently.

Proficient in measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignments, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Capable of interpreting and following written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches, with precision.

Proficient computer skills, facilitating effective documentation, reporting, and data analysis tasks.
