Quality & Engineering Manager

Grace Wayne Group is recruiting for the following

Position: Quality & Engineering Manager

Location: Indiana - northern, Logansport area - less than 2 hours from Chicago and/or Indianapolis
(relocation assistance available)

Description: In a hands-on and client-facing role, the Quality & Engineering Manager will integrate and oversee all Quality Department and Engineering Department-related activities in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant environment.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree - in Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgy preferred
- 8+ years of leadership experience in engineering and/or quality-related roles in a heavy industrial / metals manufacturing plant environment (steel industry experience preferred)
- Must have a strong background in Quality Systems/Standards and be proficient with ISO 9001
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Stable employment history (candidates who have consecutively short tenures with multiple employers will not be considered)
- Must be authorized for working in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future (no visas will be sponsored or transferred for this position)

Salary will be commensurate with education/experience. Currently targeting candidates whose experience/skill set will command somewhere around $125K-$140K. However, candidates currently above this (within reason) are still encouraged to apply.

Relocation assistance is available - preferably for candidates requiring a regional relocation or candidates who currently reside outside of the region with a particular desire to be in/around this area.
