As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to coordinate and oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of quality standards and initiatives for industrial processes, materials, and products, ensuring that customer expectations are not only met but surpassed, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain quality control and assurance systems to meet internal and external (customer) requirements.
  • Conduct employee training in quality control, statistical process control (SPC), auditing, and relevant documentation usage.
  • Perform audits of products, processes, and systems, ensuring corrective actions are effective.
  • Lead or participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and closed-loop corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and document employee training activities and support continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop inspection plans, control plans, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other quality planning documents.
  • Establish standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate failure analysis on returned discrepant products and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely disposition of discrepant material and assess associated costs and responsibilities.
  • Review manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Represent quality assurance in new product start-up teams and identify unique customer requirements.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or general manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications supporting Statistical Process Control (SPC) and program management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements, ISO9001:2015, AS9100 Quality Systems, NADCAP, and AS13100.
  • Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
  • Skilled in statistical methods for process control, capability analysis, and gage R&R studies.
  • Prior experience with Design and Process Review Verification (DPRV) for major OEMs is advantageous.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
