Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Quality Engineer position with a great company located in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electronic components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and work instructions for electronic production processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to address non-conformities and quality issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and supply chain to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
Utilize statistical tools and techniques for data analysis and process improvement.
Lead quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide training and support to production personnel on quality-related topics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
years of experience in quality engineering within electronic production or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems.
Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements (e.g., IPC standards).
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.Qualifications:
