Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance the reliability and quality of our products.
  • Utilize statistical analysis, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process and product improvements.
  • Lead the application and analysis of SPC process control, Toyota Practical Problem Solving (TPPS), and 8D problem-solving techniques in the production process.
  • Facilitate and lead teams in the accomplishment of process improvement, problem-solving, and value enhancement projects.
  • Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Coordinate with teams to execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
  • Utilize GD&T, metrology, and Minitab for product and process analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with AIAG standards and other industry quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQC) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with SPC process control, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPPS, 8D, AIAG, APQP, PPAP, MSA, GD&T, FMEA, statistical analysis, Minitab, and metrology.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement efforts.
