Project Overview: NAVFAC Southwest has a requirement for Base Operations Support (BOS) Maintenance and Service Contract for Naval Air Station (NAS), Fallon, Nevada.The primary objective of this contract is to provide Base Operations Support (BOS) Maintenance and Services at Naval Air Station (NAS), Fallon, Nevada, the Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) and all associated special areas, tenants, and remote sites, through the use of a combination of Recurring Work and Non-Recurring work. Services to be performed under the resulting contract may include the following: Management and Administration
Air Operations
Housing
Facilities
Utilities
Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (Transportation)
Environmental
Position Overview: The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Control Program in accordance with the Base Operations Support (BOS) Maintenance and Services contract at Naval Air Station (NAS), Fallon, Nevada. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD. ALUTIIQ WILL ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM INCUMBENTS CURRENTLY HOLDING THE SAME POSITION. Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Manage, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Program
Provide and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) program, which shall provide an effective and efficient means of identifying and correcting problems throughout the entire scope of operations.
Ensure performance objectives and standards are met throughout the contract.
Ensure work requirements are completed within the specified time limits and in conformance with the quality standards established by the contract.
Personnel shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: The Quality Manager shall have at least five years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
Must understand quality management system program-level functions.
Must have experience with the policy and objectives of a Quality Management System (QMS)
Experienced with methods and procedures for effective planning, operation, and control of processes and performance of work.
Experienced in procedures for inspection and surveillance of services to include all contractual requirements.
Must be experienced with Oversight of subcontracted work.
Experienced with documentation and records management.
Knowledgeable with Quality Inspection and Surveillance Reports
Must be a U.S. Citizen
