As a Quality Control Inspector based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for overseeing processes and conducting quality control inspections. This will be done by using a variety of precision measuring instruments and devices to inspect parts. You will interface with Quality, Production, Operations, and Engineering teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Check parts using manual technique inspection.
- Conduct quality control inspection for:
- First article Inspection
- Receiving inspection
- Incoming inspection
- In-process inspection
- Customer inspection request
- Rework inspection
- Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functionality, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Assist non-conforming material process and disposition.
- Manage quality control department equipment, tools, and instrument calibration.
- Provide training to associates.
- Teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
