Quality Inspector

Job Description: Full-time Electronics Inspection Technician with at least three years of hands-on experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate the quality of existing PCBA and electronic assemblies to ensure that the assemblies are built to industry, IPC, and company standards. The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a certified IPC specialist supporting an electronics production environment and possess a strong background in electronic assembly soldering.

Responsibilities include:

Utilize production data to inspect printed circuit boards and assemblies.

Read and understand PCB layout images, component data sheets, work instructions, drawings and rework instructions to verify acceptability of each assembly.

Document the results of each inspected assembly and printed circuit board.

Abide by all ESD and safety standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of three years of experience with board level inspection, soldering, troubleshooting and\or repair.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Able to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, PCB layout, and assembly documents for electronic printed circuit boards.

Background in surface mount and through hole soldering of electrical components.

Self-motivated personality and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Excellent communication skills.

IPC-A-610 Certification is required
