Learn more about us (3) LER TechForce : Life LinkedIn What you will be doing:This position is to conduct the required warranty analysis for returned parts from customers, conduct tests, claim data monitoring, and claim trend analysis to minimize warranty cost and part improvement. The required responsibility and qualification are described belowWrite detailed reports of field issues and make improvement recommendationsCommunicate with customers to follow up issues and customer vestigate the returned parts from customersConduct the required test for analysis / new model developments / periodic reliability testEstablish plans to support warranty issue for new and existing modelsWarranty data processing (chargeback, objection)Analyze warranty trend based on the customer's claim input.Create Technical reports on investigations, analysis, and recommendations for related teams.Strong willingness to continuous improvement in knowledge/skill /work environmentTrain new employees in quality assurance team for the test and warranty related equipment use/procedureWhat you'll need to be successful:Essential:Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related area and one (1) to five (5) years of Mechanical Engineering experience preferably at an OEM, or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferredKnowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerancesWorking knowledge and experience using pneumatic/hydraulic units, height gage, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gage blocks, computerized gages, and torque gaugesStrong knowledge of basic physicsMust be able to read and interpret blueprintsMust know basic quality terms, definitions, and conceptsTechnical writing skillsFlexible schedule to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requiredBe able to travel in USA and abroad as requiredTechnical Competencies:Must have in-depth knowledge for Microsoft Excel(Macro), Power Point, WordMust understand part drawing, geometric specification, and basic physicMust understand basic principle for chassis component like brakesNon-Technical Competencies:Must have good problem-solving skills, communication skills, and organization skills.What you'll get:Full benefits: medical, dental, vision12 Holidays/120 hrs.
