QUALITY & COMPLIANCE MANAGER: MECHANICAL ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising the quality control inspectors and for final product quality as well as processes and procedures related to that area. Ensures quality standards are re-enforced and updated for all company products and or services. Executes the quality control including risk management, corrective and preventive action and non-conformance, complaint investigation and production support as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Follows established company standards and regulations.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned as needed:

  • Creates and processes procedures and instructions for production floor
  • Implements and ensures company policies are uniformly followed and enforced, especially paying attention to safety regulations
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products
  • Writes and processes ECN's for engineering department
  • Produce SOP's
  • Maintain Tack Sheets, deviation log, calibration database, Daily Action Log, Reject reports, Problem Alerts,
  • Write failure analysis for RMA's
  • Maintain controlled documents
  • Works with Quality Inspectors ensuring proper inspection procedures are followed


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, and Macola
  • Requires the ability to think and act independently
  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a team player
  • Must be able to schedule, plan and have time-management skills necessary in order to ensure that the appropriate staff members are assigned to a task to facilitate time completion of projects
  • Hands on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation
  • Strong knowledge of calibration
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements

PAY AND BENEFITS:

$30.00 - $32.00 to start (DOE)

This is a contract to permanent position. Full benefits package after transitioned to the client company payroll.

This is not a remote position
