Ultradent, the global name in oral health is seeking a part-time QC Microbiology Technician to join our Day Shift team. Job Duties: Collect Environmental Monitoring samples in a manufacturing setting, including water, active air, compressed air, surface swabs, and particulate levels. Participate in the maintaining of the laboratory and equipment (ie. cleaning, material and media restocking, etc.). Assist with the testing of raw materials, bulk intermediates, finished goods and stability samples for quality attributes following applicable SOPs and test methods. Assist with the out-sourcing of test samples. Assist in the reporting of test results via Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS). Stay up to date on current protocols with SOP updates. Work efficiently and effectively with other team members. Communicate expected sample test times and results with QC Microbiologists and QC Micro Team Leader. Assist with the management of media usage and order necessary lab supplies. Attend team, department, and corporate meetings as required. Other tasks as needed. Able to work regular weekday schedule (M-F 8-5) What you'll need to succeed: Integrity is a requirement. Self-motivated. Manage time well while unsupervised. Document work clearly, accurately, and in accordance with GDP. Perform all task per GDP and SOPs. Precise attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time. Ability to physically lift, handle and manipulate manufacturing equipment for sampling (ie, hoses, clamps, and sampling ports). Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures (SOP). Ability to manage variable work efficiently and effectively. Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, Outlook. What we're looking for in you: Highschool Diploma or higher. Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in a GLP Laboratory environment preferred.
