QC Associate Specialist

  • Main responsibilities- Reviewing QC data- (80% of day)- reviewing QC notebook records
  • Follow GMP regulations and SOPs
  • Make sure everything is documented per GMP
  • Verify the method
  • Verify lab instruments
  • Data review for protocols
  • Data review for test results
  • Reviewing analytical data- notebooks, testing data
  • Make sure compliant with SOPs and methods
  • Work with LIMs software- create and edit documents in that system
  • Update SOPs, methods and forms

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related life science field . If they don't have a B.S. degree, open to an Associates degree with 2+ years of GMP experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment. Food industry is not ideal
  • 0-2+ years of QC or QA related experience- experience with peer review
  • Must be detail oriented (verify through references)
  • High communication- Finding errors and provide verbal and written information to individual (Verbal and Written)
  • Self starter- doesn't need to be micromanaged
  • Flexibility- Willing to follow procedures but taking feedback from mgt and adjusting thoughts
  • Able to work independently
  • Multi-tasking- priority shift- be able to change mindset based on needs
  • Helpful experience running chemistry instrumentation like HPLC, GC and wet chemistry
